State Sen. Ken Yager has hired Trent Heath as his new Executive Legislative Assistant.
Trent Heath previously served as the Assistant Research Analyst for the Senate Judiciary Committee and as a Senate Clerk. He interned for former State Sen. Mike Bell (R-Riceville).
“Trent is a great asset to our office,” said Sen. Yager. “I am excited he has chosen to join us, and I know he will be a great help in serving our constituents.”
The Executive Legislative Assistant is responsible for constituent services, scheduling, and other administrative services. He can be reached at 615-741-1449 or by email at trent.heath@capitol.tn.gov.
Heath graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He is the son of Tim and Cynthia Heath of Dickson County. He is engaged to Laurel Hays, who will soon graduate pharmacy school. They are set to marry later this year.
“I am honored to join Senator Yager’s office,” said Heath. “I look forward to working in the office and serving the constituents in the 12th Senatorial District.”
