The Campbell County High School Band will present its annual spring concert on May 8 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The concert is open to the public and there will be a $2 charge for admission. The Cougar Band will have its award ceremony immediately following the concert. CCHS students Ryan Scarborough and Katie Ham will have a car wash on May 10 in Hardee's restaurant parking lot to raise money for a trip to Europe. The car wash will start at 10:30 a.m.

Lake City Lions Club will have its annual golf tournament at Three Ridges Golf Course on May 10. Starting time will be at 8 a.m. team registration will be at 7:30. The cost is $50 per player. Proceeds go to support projects which include college scholarships, glasses, and various community projects. Format is Swat or best ball. A meeting will be held for anyone interested in traveling to Europe next summer on May 12 in the CCHS Band Room. The group will travel to Vienna, Austria, Venice, Italy and Paris, France.
