About National Night Out

The 2011 National Night Out (NNO), held on August 2nd, in the City of LaFollette, was a great success.  NNO is a national event that promotes neighborhood safety and fighting back against criminal activity.  Participation in NNO is an initiative that was started as part of the Campbell County Anti-Drug Coalition. 

It was estimated that over 600 people were in attendance with 30+ vendors.  One of the greatest aspects of this event was the number of youth that were involved, especially, as they provided entertainment.  Special thanks to everyone who everyone who participated in any aspect.  

The City of Jellico also hosted its first NNO event which also was successful. 

Thanks again to everyone.  Let us start now to make the 2012 event even bigger and better than this one.
