DUFF—Two individuals believed to be responsible for a June house fire in Duff are behind bars.
Shelia Antrican Havens, 54, 400 E. Virginia Ave., LaFollette, and Danny Wayne Antrican, 1331 Slopcreek Rd., Morristown, turned themselves in to Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Det. Freddie Stagnolia on July 23.
The pair is accused of burning a home at 412 Duff Road on June 5 in retaliation for previous damage at Havens’s home.
Since the incident, the duo had been hospitalized at Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s burn unit in Nashville. Authorities believe the pair was burned when gasoline used to burn the home got on their clothing.
The victim told authorities in June that Havens had been threatening her.
Havens and Antrican were each charged with two counts of aggravated arson.
