LaFOLLETTE—A 23-year-old woman was jailed after police reportedly found her trying to push a car over an embankment at her home.
Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Darryl Chapman was dispatched to 275 Cave Springs Road on Dec. 21 following a complaint about an intoxicated person. At the scene, Danielle Desha Mason, 275 Cave Springs Road, LaFollette, allegedly admitted she was under the influence of a controlled substance. Beyond trying to push a car over an embankment, Mason had been calling 911 that day reporting accidents and requesting ambulances, police records indicated.
Mason was arrested and charged with public intoxication. This was her first booking at the Campbell County Jail.
