A Campbell County Ambulance Service employee allegedly took the opportunity to case a home while responding to an emergency.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning LaFollette Police Officer William Owens responded to a report of a break in at an East Hemlock address.
According to the complaint, a male dressed in black was seen by witnesses trying to kick the door of an apartment in.
As Owens arrived, Garrett Ramsey, 40, of 411 Eagle Bluff Road, was attempting to leave the area in a vehicle parked at the Dewey Hunter Center.
