Four new people will be among those who help care for Campbell County’s shelter pets.
On Monday, shelter director Betty Crumley led an orientation session for those interested in helping out.
“I think it went fine,” Crumley said on Monday.
Potential volunteers were asked to pay $5 for a training manual and familiarize themselves with the material prior to the Monday orientation. The manual contained information about volunteer duties and shelter practices, as well as a questionnaire for the potential volunteers.
