Caryville finds three meth labs in one day, two arrested

The Caryville Police Department discovered three meth labs on Jan. 7. Two people were arrested in connection with the first lab discovery.

According to the offense report, Police Chief Bill Widener contacted Det. Stephanie Smith about a meth lab seizure at the EconoLodge.

Smith, a safety officer with the meth task force, assisted in containing the meth lab components and transferring the materials to the police department.
