The Campbell County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual pig roast Nov. 8 at the Ball Farm Event Center from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
“I think we’ll have 200 or 300 folks come out in a really good mood to support their chamber,” said E. L. Morton, director for the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce. “We’re looking forward to the community coming out and participating.”
The pig roast is open to anybody. Pulled pork, a pasta bar and chicken fingers will be served, and there will be live music.
Ayers Real Estate and Auction will host a silent and live auction. Items that are for sale at the auction range from power tools to pontoon boat rentals and visits to restaurants. People can see items for sale at ayersauctionpage.com. Usually, there are about 100 donors for the auction. All donors will be honored in a slide show that will run during the pig roast.
“It’s a lively and fun live auction,” Morton said.

The pig roast is one of two fundraisers the chamber hosts every year.
Funds raised go to promoting the community in a variety of ways such as outdoor advertisements, electronic, or web, development and print advertisement.
“We’re actively reaching out into the market and developing relationships in the retail, industrial and tourism sectors,” Morton said.
Everyone is invited, Morton said.
Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for children.
People can purchase tickets at the chamber or from board members. Those interested in purchasing tickets can call 566-0329.
