Faith Way Assembly of God will host “The Spring Thing” on May 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a community wide event that includes free food, games, bounce houses and many other activities. For more information, call the church office at 566-5161.   Fordtown Baptist Church will have a special service and singing on May 16 at 7 p.m. with The Glory Road Boys.   The 1st annual Glade Springs Baptist Church Bass Tournament will be held May 16 from safe daylight until 2 p.m. at Maddy Randolph Hollow in Pinecrest. $10 entry fee per person (no entry fee for children 15 and under), limit two adults (16 and older) or two adults/one child (15 and under) per boat. Pay out will be announced.   Mt. Olive Baptist Church will have revival services beginning May 17 at 6 p.m. For more information call 426-9838.   Valley Fellowship Church of God will begin revival services on May 17 at 6:30 p.m. through May 18 and 20 at 7 p.m. with Rev. Dereck Hembree.   Macedonia Baptist Church will have its homecoming on May 17 beginning at 11 a.m. Special singers will be Larry Richardson and family.   Valley Fellowship Church of God will be hosting the district fellowship meeting on May 19 at 7 p.m. Rev.
