Calvary Worship Center will host a benefit concert for Courtni Clark on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. Guest singers will be The Fox Family, Sherry Perry and Calvary Christian Academy Elementary Classes. A love offering will be taken. A concession stand will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will reopen after the concert.

Newcomb Church of God will host Who I Am, a hand skit by the church youth on Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m.


House of Prayer and Praise will host a Baptism service on Jan. 25 at 6 p.m.


Mount Harmony Baptist Church will have a gospel singing on Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. Singers will be Alder Springs Singers of LaFollette, the Harvey’s of Clinton and the Powers Family of Claiborne County.


Red Ash Baptist Church will host a singing on Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. Special singers include Kenneth and Sisters Three and Glory Bound Express. For more information call 562-0708.


A Beth Moore Bible Study, "Believing God” will begin Feb. 3 and continue   Tuesdays from 6:30 – 8 pm in the Solarium at Mercy/St. Mary's Health Center, LaFollette.  Contact Sandy at 494-7134 or 566-6751 to reserve your spot in class.


Cumberland View Baptist Church will have a youth meeting every Thursday evening at 7 p.m.  Kids of all ages are invited to attend.  For a ride or more information, please call 494-0751 or 563-5742.

Celebrate Recovery is for men and women who are struggling with a hurt, hang-up, or habit. Meetings are held every Thursday evening in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church, 409 Main Street, Jacksboro. A light meal is served at 6:15 p.m. followed by a large and small group meeting. Refreshments are served afterward at the Solid Rock Café. There is no cost. For more information call 562-5168, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Childcare is now available. Child care is provided. Women’s small group addressing anger issues and physically, emotionally and verbally abused women have recently become available.
