Fordtown Baptist Church will have its monthly special service on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. with the Eastview singers. East LaFollette Baptist Church will host a one day revival with former country singer, Kenny Evans, on Feb. 22. Evans has opened for many big name country stars in the past and currently sings at Country Tonite Theater in Pigeon Forge. The service times are 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. He will sing and preach in both services. There is no charge but a love offering will be taken. Word of Life Church will begin revival services on Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. Chris Gardner will be the evangelist. Fordtown Baptist Church will be having a revival on March 8 at 6 p.m. (5:45 p.m. prayer room) and March 9 at 7:15 p.m. (6:45 prayer room) with Pastor Adam Hunley and Evangelist Sampson Ridenour. Celebrate Recovery is for men and women who are struggling with a hurt, hang-up, or habit. Meetings are held every Thursday evening in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church, 409 Main Street, Jacksboro. A light meal is served at 6:15 p.m. followed by a large and small group meeting. Refreshments are served afterward at the Solid Rock Café. There is no cost.
