Mountain View Independent Baptist Church will host a Christmas dinner on Dec. 17 at 4 p.m.. In addition to dinner there will be songs by the children’s group Providence Ensemble and special guest star “Smidget”. RSVP to John or Judy at 566-3920 or email at jjgear11@aol.com.


The Sled Creek Community Holiness Church in White Oak will be presenting a Christmas play on Dec. 17 at 6 p.m.


Fordtown Baptist Church will began having Sunday evening service at 4 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.
 for the winter months due to daylight saving time. This began Nov. 27.
Caryville Church of God is having a community give away
Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will clothes, hotdogs, hot chocolate, and prayer for all. For more information call 494-6719.


Macedonia Baptist Church will be having a Christmas play entitled “Christmas Hope” on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. For more information call Teresa Adkins at 871-6476.

Fordtown Baptist Church will have a Christmas Play entitled “The Rest Of The Story” on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m.

There will be a Christmas play entitled “Kneel at the Cross” held at Red Ash Baptist Church on Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. and Dec. 18 at 5 p.m. For more information call 494-4731.

Hillcrest Baptist Church Christmas program will be Dec.18 at 6 p.m. The program will include songs, recitations a pantomime to Silent Night and a play titled "A Christmas Friend.”

Cedar Hill Baptist Church will hold Miracle Day on Dec. 18. The celebration will start at 10 a.m. For more information call 562-9318.

Campbell County Christians United for Change prayer services will be held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the West LaFollette Community Center cafeteria. All Campbell County pastors and congregations are encouraged to attend.

Trinity Lutheran Church invites anyone who is interested in learning about the Lutheran faith to attend classes beginning this fall. Classes will be held monthly on the first and third Sundays at the Wedding Chapel, 103 S. Sixth Street. For more information call 563-9742.
