A Clinton man found himself with criminal charges after an alleged armed robbery incident.
LaFollette Police Officer Corey Taylor was dispatched to a South 4th Street address on a robbery call last Monday.
The victim told Taylor that A.J. Gunter, 18, of 1303 Block House Valley Road, Clinton, and an accomplice had robbed the victim at gunpoint.
According to the victim, Gunter allegedly struck him three or four times in the back of the head knocking him to the floor. Records indicate that the victim reported a gun was put in his face and he was ordered to turn over everything he had in his pockets.
After the victim allegedly gave Gunter $562 in cash, Gunter fled the area on foot.
Gunter was later arrested and charged with aggravated burglary.
