Confrontation led to charges

A confrontation at a local apartment complex netted two charges of reckless endangerment for a Caryville woman.

On Dec. 1, Campbell County Sheriff’s Detective James Jeffries was dispatched to the scene of an alleged robbery and stolen vehicle at the Brook Place Apartments in LaFollette.

Jeffries said he discovered the vehicle was not stolen. However, he learned through NCIC records the driver had a suspended license.
