Beginning Monday, all driver’s tests will have to be taken at the Clinton driver’s station. The LaFollette office will cease operations tomorrow and merge with the Clinton office. No jobs will be lost.
The move was announced late last month by the Tennessee Department of Safety.
According to Jennifer Donnals, communications director for the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, the state will save $62,000 per year by merging the LaFollette and Clinton stations.
