The Campbell County Sheriff's Office believe they have removed one of the county's most prominent drug dealers following a two-day investigation that uncovered money, narcotics, firearms and 10 vehicles.
Kermit D. York, 52, 711 Ivey Hollow Road, LaFollette, has previous felonies and is believed to be the largest distributor of narcotics in the area, police said.
Deputies searched the property at 265 Dillon Drive in LaFollette during the early morning hours on Friday and discovered more than $60,000 stashed in the home's floorboards. That money is allegedly a product of selling drugs, reports said.
