The Jacksboro Middle School boy’s basketball team is off to a 2-0 start this year after road wins over Wartburg and Oneida.
Ethan Simpson poured in 23 points, including a pair of three-pointers during the last minute of Monday night’s game at Wartburg, to force overtime.
Once in OT, Bo Farris hit a clutch trey to help the Eagles prevail, 51-46. Farris finished with eight points.
Jacksboro opened the season with a 35-31 victory at Oneida as Simpson scored 12 points.
