Jacksboro Middle School’s boys toppled LaFollette from the ranks of basketball’s unbeaten teams Thursday night.
The Eagles won, 39-32, behind a sterling performance by guards Ethan Simpson and Skylar Williams, who scored 14 and 12 points, respectively.
Williams scored 10 of his points--including a three-pointer and 7 of 8 free throws--in the decisive fourth quarter. Jordan Kindred finished with six points for Jacksboro while Robert Adkins had three, Trey Torres and Brandon Long two each.
