Rocky Mitchell Greene should have left a North 15th Street address when he was asked. But because he did not he and three others landed in jail on drug charges.
LaFollette Police Officers Daniel Smith and Josh Vann were called to a North 15th Street residence to remove Greene, 51, of 603 Rose Hill Drive, from the premises last week.
Upon arrival officers were informed by the property owner that Greene, Daniel Raines, 27, of 295 McGhee Lane, Jacksboro and Joanna Davis, 23, of 307 North 15th Street, were allegedly using drugs in a bedroom in the house.
Records indicated a search of the room revealed several syringes and a short straw with residue.
Brittany A. Hale, 24, of 175 Rainbow Circle, arrived at the home prior to Smith and Vann to give Raines a ride.
When questioned by officers about illegal items on her person, Hale allegedly told them she had none.
After gaining consent to search Hale’s vehicle, Smith and Vann allegedly located several kinds of medication hidden under the console.
After being transported to the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department Hale was allegedly discovered to be in possession of a green pill and a small bag of what was believed to be marijuana.
Greene, Raines and Davis were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All were released and are scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 11.
Hale was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and introducing contraband into a penal facility. She was released on a $5,000 and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 11.
