Four men accused of going into a man’s home, forcing him into a closet and robbing him have been indicted by the Campbell County Grand Jury.
Daryl Frazier, Mitchell Swygert, Roger Wilson and Michael Goins were indicted Monday on aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.
They are scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
In December 2008, the men allegedly entered a Glades Springs residence tying up one man. They then forced him into a closet locking the door, the arrest warrants said.
During the course of the crime, the foursome used guns belonging to the victim to intimidate him, reports from the incident allege. These were later recovered in the yard of the home.
Next, they took money and medication from the home, according to Det. Brandon Elkins of the sheriff’s department.
Elkins said in his warrant that through the investigation he also learned the man was injured in the course of the crime.
The warrant further said after it was over the four allegedly split the pills among themselves. This move came back to haunt one of the men when he was arrested.
When Frazier was arrested, Elkins found medication matching the ones that had been taken from the victim’s home, according to the report.
