It’s time once again for the fourth annual tractor and engine show in Jellico.
The show starts at 10 a.m., this Saturday in the grass parking area at the stage in Veteran’s Park in downtown Jellico.
People are invited to bring any unit that may be of interest to spectators, according to Jellico Tourism Director Jake Bennett.
“It doesn’t have to be an old unit, just something interesting. If you’ve got one (tractor or engine) at home that you’re proud of then bring it on down,” Bennett said.
He hopes to draw a bigger fan base now that the event is in its fourth year.
“We had 45 tractors last year an I would really like to double that,” Bennett said.
There are no entry fees for the show as it is not a contest. Bennett invites the public to bring the family and the lawn chairs to Veteran’s Park for a day of family fun.
“There’s no winners, no losers and no contest, just a lot of lookers and a whole lot of fun,” Bennett said.
Concessions will be available on location. For more information contact the Jellico Tourism office at 784-3275.
