Christmas came early for the board of education and Campbell County High School along with Jellico High School staff.
Last Thursday a group of teachers and administrators gathered at the central office to celebrate the first in a series of hurdles the schools needed to clear in order to be in good standing with the state.
Scores are in from the first semester Gateway exams, and the results are something to cheer about.
