An Ohio man indicted by a Campbell County Grand Jury for indecent exposure and aggravated sexual battery plead not guilty in court Monday.
Raymond Gibbs, of Dayton, Oh, had been a no show at his preliminary hearing in general sessions court, said Assistant District Attorney Scarlet Ellis. When he failed to appear, the case was presented to the grand jury. It in turn indicted him.
“He was in custody in another state,” said Michael Hatmaker, who represents Gibbs, attempting to excuse his client’s absence.
