Haslam in town

This afternoon Gov. Bill Haslam will be in town.

Haslam will swear in new District Attorney General Lori Phillips- Jones at 2:45 p.m. on the courthouse lawn.

Phillips- Jones’ staff will also be sworn in during the ceremony. And while her staff will be taking an oath of office, two of them will play a part in the program itself.

Investigator Johnny Vanover will say the opening prayer while child support attorney Todd Longmire will offer the closing prayer.
