A LaFollette man is facing 11 narcotics related charges following an indictment by the grand jury last week.

Michael T. Huckaby now has multiple drug and drug related charges he will have to answer for.

The indictment comes after a stretch of arrests the 29 –year- old racked up this fall.

Each time Huckaby was arrested it was for meth related offenses, according to LaFollette Police Department records.

Among the times he was arrested, one occurred outside his North 21 st Street home. On that occasion the LPD found numerous items needed to manufacture meth on and near the perimeter of the home where Huckaby was living, the report said. Police reports further indicate the man’s two young children had been living there as well.

Just weeks later, Huckaby was arrested again. This time he was a passenger in a vehicle containing items needed to produce meth.

During that arrest, it appeared Huckaby was attempting to conceal something in his mouth. When the officers forced him to spit the object out, it appeared to be marijuana, the arrest warrant said.

In all Huckaby was indicted for five attempts to make meth, four counts of having drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence among the other crimes.
