A series of break-ins at area vacation homes has led to the arrest of two individuals. Kenny Tate who was already in the Campbell County Jail has been charged with four counts of aggravated burglary, theft over $1,000 and vandalism. Tate is accused of stealing televisions from vacation homes in the Flat Hollow Community and Ivey Hollow area, most of which were higher end televisions. Tate allegedly had keys to the homes he broke into, but used a rock to make it appear that the homes had been burglarized, according to Detective John Long of the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department Also charged in the crimes is Jamie Douglas who turned herself into the sheriff’s department earlier this week. She is also charged with four counts of aggravated burglary, theft over $1,000 and vandalism.
