A discussion regarding Christmas bonuses for Jacksboro employees led to budget discussions at the board of mayor and alderman meeting.
“We cut out the Christmas and longevities based on what kind of revenues we have,” said Mayor Jack Cannon about the budget prepared earlier in the year. “We can afford to give full time employees $100 bonus for Christmas and put the longevity pay back in like it was for this past year.”
