Jellico amends budget for Christmas bonuses

This year’s Christmas came a little early for Jellico city employees when the board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a budget amendment granting Christmas bonuses for full and part-time city employees on Wednesday night.

The board unanimously agreed to the budget amendment granting full-time employees $500 and part-time employees $150 each.

With 20 full-time and seven part-time employees on staff, this equals out to $11,050 added onto the budget.
