Jellico couple arrested after four-month investigation

A husband-wife duo was arrested after police allege they were selling narcotics.

The pair, Ted and Thelma Alsip of Hoot Owl Hollow Road in Jellico, originally drew attention of the Jellico Police Department after they received word about alleged acts happening in Veterans’ Park, according to police.

After evidence was gathered, it was presented to the Campbell County Grand Jury, who then issued true bills for the Alsips.
