Jellico’s residents could find themselves a little warmer thanks to the kindness of fellow citizens.
On Saturday, children, teens and adults in need of a coat can go to Veterans Park between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to pick up a free coat in Jellico’s third annual Coats for the Cold.
“We’ve got a room full of coats,” said Doris Stiers, one of the event organizers. “I bet we’ve got 800 coats.” Last year, 500 coats were collected.
