Jellico New Year Celebration set for Monday

Veterans park might look like Times Square when the town converges on it for the third annual New Years Rock ‘n’ Eve on Monday night.

“Everybody wants to go out on New Years Eve,” said Doris Stiers, one of the event organizers.

The electric company is going to erect a pole for Jellico to drop a ball at midnight. 

Besides the midnight countdown, DJ Brian Voyles, also known as “Killer B,” will spin the top 100 musical hits for attendees.
