The city of Jellico hosted its annual Christmas parade on Sunday. The parade had a total of 70 participants with 25 of those being judged. Floats were judged on creativity, ingenuity, along with the involvement and work put into the float. Winners in the commercial division were Jellico Community Hospital; non-commercial division winner was Cub Scouts Troop 435 and church winner was Little White Oak Baptist Church. The winners each received a $300 check from the town. Grand marshal for the event was Abby Ham, Channel 10 News morning anchor. “The parade was a great success and the smoothest one we ever had” said Jake Bennett Jellico Tourism Director.
