A Jellico woman was arrested after police questioned her for prostitution and found she was wanted on an outstanding drug related indictment.
Once officers identified the woman as Margaret A. “Paco” Hicks, 35, she was arrested on an indictment warrant handed down by the Campbell County Grand Jury.
During the booking process, Hicks allegedly admitted to having “intimate knowledge” of a Jellico prostitution ring and reportedly admitted to taking part in illegal acts in the park.
“She’s been known to frequent several vehicles,” said Jellico Assistant Police Chief, J.J. Hatmaker.
Hicks was charged with two counts of sale and two counts of delivery of a schedule II drug and one count of sale and one count of delivery of a schedule III drug while in a school zone. The indictment came after a four-month investigation by the JPD last year.
Hicks was the fourth person arrested in October in Jellico on drug-related offenses.
