Kitts places 16th at Vanderbilt tournament

Campbell County native Greg Kitts made his name known on the national level.

Playing for Tennessee Tech University, Kitts climbed the charts of the top Division I schools to grab a 16th place finish in the 54-hole Mason Rudolph Men’s Championship hosted by Vanderbilt University at The Legends Golf Course.

His best day in the tournament this past weekend was Sunday, when the junior shot for a one-under-par 70 to make his move up the leaderboard. His one bogey and two birdie round was the best day in his consistent round.
