A pair of 1,000-point career scorers are Campbell County’s representatives this year on the Girl’s All-District 3-AAA Basketball Team.

Seniors Jessica Moore and Candice

Seiber were chosen to the team last week by the league coaches after leading the Lady Cougars (10-6 district, 17-10 overall) to a third place regular season finish.

Moore, a 5-foot-8 guard who has signed to play college basketball next year for Campbell University, passed the 1,000-point mark earlier this season.

Seiber, a 5-foot-8 post player, reached the milestone a week ago.

Moore was also an all-district selection last year.

Other members of the 2010 Girl’s All-District 3-AAA Basketball Team include: MVP DeQuesha McClanahan, Armeka Booker and Jazzmine Hazzard of league champion Oak Ridge; Jill Herman, Jessica Trice and Andrea Coomer of district runner-up Powell; Cody Houck and Amber Taylor from Clinton; Blair Brabson and Makayla Graham from Knoxville Central; Jacquelyn Hickson and Kaitlin Cupples from Anderson County; Lauren Trent and Jennifer Schilling from Hardin Valley; and Sydney Carden from Knox Halls. His peers chose Central’s Jason Kallenberg as district coach of the year.
