Lady Cougars rally past Powell, 55-53

Campbell County’s girls looked for all the world like they were going to lose Tuesday night’s District 3-AAA high school basketball game to visiting Powell.

Trailing 51-38 early in the fourth quarter, the Lady Cougars managed to regain their composure and work their way back into contention with a 12-0 run.

With a couple of big plays down the stretch from freshman Maria Foust, Campbell County won 55-53 to improve its record to 6-5 in league play and 10-9 overall.
