It’s been a tough opening week for Campbell County High School’s softball team.
The Lady Cougars lost a doubleheader, 10-0 and 3-0, at Hardin Valley on Monday. The following afternoon, Campbell County dropped its home opener, 17-3, to Oliver Springs.
Mary Wilhoit, Mary Hickman and Haleigh Gulley drove in the Lady Cougars’ three runs against Oliver Springs.
Campbell County is scheduled to host district rival Clinton today (Thurs.)
