LaFollette accepts repair bid

At a special called meeting on Jan. 18, the LaFollette City Council approved a bid from Dixie Roofing to repair the roof over the Police Department.
“Mike, fix the leak,” Mayor Mike Stanfield said to Mike Malicoat, owner of Dixie Roofing.
Dixie Roofing had the low bid of $21,976.
The council had voted to advertise for bids at the regular meeting on Jan. 8. The council adjourned in session and reconvened Friday for a special called meeting to accept a bid.
