LaFollette continues to be plagued by meth lab discoveries

With the discovery of three more meth labs last week, there seems to be little chance of a slow down for LaFollette Police officers.

The seizure of last week’s labs brings the total for the six weeks of 2009 to 13.

“At this point we have seized as many labs as we had by September last year,” Det. Sgt. Jason Henegar said of putting the current year’s lab discoveries in perspective.

The seizure of last week’s batch of labs began on Wednesday when Officer Steve Wallen found a site just off Ivey Dell Road.
