LaFollette Council approves $1,000 donation to festival

A swift council meeting held few items for discussion on Tuesday night.

In response to the request of Louie Bluie Board members for donations, the LaFollette City Council approved a $1,000 donation to the festival. The festival will be held at the Cove Lake State Park on June 13.

Next on the agenda was discussion of a library fund. The council approved establishing a bank account for library funds. To fill the account with money, the council unanimously approved to transfer the flea market funds into the library-building fund.
