The LaFollette City Council got a fresh face on Monday night as the newest elected officials take office.
Councilman Joe Bolinger and newly elected councilwoman Stephanie Grimm were sworn in together during a special ceremony prior to the workshop meeting.
Bolinger and Grimm repeated the oath of office as retired Circuit Court Judge Conrad Troutman led the ceremony. Joined by their family and friends the two elected officials were pleased to take their office seats.
Mayor Mike Stanfield presented both council members with a plaque acknowledging their induction into city government.
Grimm joined the council at the boardroom table for the workshop meeting. The council will meet in regular session on Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
