A LaFollette man has learned crime isn’t all fun and games.

Last week, Andrew Charles Chapman, 18, 126 Tyson Lane, was arrested on aggravated burglary, theft over $500 and vandalism.

The charges stem from a home invasion that occurred earlier the same day he was arrested, according to LaFollette Police Officer Dennis Chadwell’s report.

Chapman is accused of forcing his way into a Beech Street home damaging the home’s door in the process, the arrest report said. Once in the home he allegedly took an XBox 360 game system, several of the accompanying games, a carrying case and XBox accessories. The arrest warrant also says he took a digital camera from the home.

As the LPD arrest warrant continues, it says Chapman then sold the game and some of its accessories. What he didn’t sell he threw in the dumpster.

Chapman is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
