Lions Club is holding essay contest to raise awareness

The Lions Club of Campbell County has been a leader in providing eye care to children and adults in the area. Diabetes can cause many health problems including a loss of sight due to diabetic retinopathy, according to the American Diabetes Association (ADA).

This and other health risks are the reason for the Lions Club essay contest recently given to schools throughout the county.

The Lions Club has contacted schools throughout the county to participate in an essay contest to raise awareness about diabetes.
