After nearly two months on the lam a LaFollette man was forced to face the music.

Last Wednesday LaFollette Police Officer Stephen Wallen saw William Douglas Wilson, 33, of 312 Country Club Road, outside Wilson’s residence.

According to Wallen’s report, he was aware that Wilson had outstanding warrant and attempted to make contact with him.

In October Wilson allegedly entered a home at 339 Country Club Road and took several tools and the victim’s credit cards, which he used to make purchases totaling $2,476.49 at several local businesses, the arrest report said.

Wilson allegedly entered the residence and refused to respond to Wallen’s request.

Officers Jason Marlow, Ronald Halcomb and Dennis Chadwell were called to the scene to assist Wallen.

Records indicate Wallen and the other officers entered the home through an open door and eventually located Wilson in the garage.

Wilson is charged with evading arrest, aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 19.
