LaFollette officers netted the seizure of another meth lab last Thursday. The lab was the second discovered in the city during the week.

According to Det. Sgt. Jason Henegar, Steve Wallace, 45, and Tonya Jones, 39, both of 819 Ivey Hollow Road, were stopped on East Ash Street by Officer William Owens.

During the traffic stop a search of the vehicle revealed a mobile meth lab mostly located in the bed of the truck.

“The lab is what we would refer to as a small lab,” Henegar said of the size of the operation.

In addition to finding multiple items used in the production of meth, some of the finished product as well as marijuana were also found in the vehicle.

Wallace was charged with giving false information to police, promotion to manufacture meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jones was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, giving false information to an officer, possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
