LPD makes drug arrests

LaFollette Police continued to prove that drugs are a very present danger for LaFollette and surrounding communities when officers made a number of drug related arrests last week.

Late Wednesday night Officer Stephen Wallen observed a car crossing the center line on Jacksboro Pike near Hunters Branch.

According to Wallen’s report, when he stopped Phillip Cole Hatmaker, 46, of 416 Summit Drive, there was “a strong odor of marijuana inside the vehicle.”
