LPD makes DUI arrest

When LaFollette Police Officers arrived to investigate a single car accident in the early hours of Sunday morning, the driver was not there to tell them what happened.

Officer Tony Rucker received a call that a vehicle ran off the road on South 13th Street striking a mailbox and telephone pole in the process.

According to the arrest warrant, Officer Steve Wallen, the first officer to arrive at the scene, discovered the white Ford F150 had left the area.
