LPD puts brakes on meth lab; discovers another

LaFollette Police foiled a would-be meth lab thanks to a traffic stop last Friday.

When Officers Daniel Terry and Pam Jarrett conducted a traffic stop for a window tint violation the vehicle occupants were left with more than a mere citation.

The silver Pontiac Grand Am with mirror tinted windows was not only loaded with four passengers from Kentucky but a plethora of items needed to manufacture methamphetamine as well, the arrest records said.
