Water safety and power expansion topped the agenda at the LaFollette Utilities board meeting on Monday night.
LaFollette Utilities has long had the practice of certain businesses such as restaurants, funeral homes and hospitals being required to have a back flow prevention device installed to keep contaminants from being back flowed into the potable water system, according to LUB General Manager Kenny Baird.
